Youth Group

Students in 6th–12th Grade – Sundays, 5:00 PM

During the school year, our teenagers and pre-teens meet Sundays from 5:00–7:00 PM in our Christian Life Center (CLC) fellowship hall for dinner, games, and discussions about faith in today’s world. Some weeks, we gather off-site for fellowship, such as a movie night or dinner at a restaurant. Volunteers provide mentorship and chaperone all activities. In the summer, youth meet for special events and trips.

Real Connection, Real Faith

Now more than ever, it is important for young people to build healthy, offline relationships and find their place in a strong community. Youth Group at Merritt’s Chapel offers a space where they can connect face-to-face, grow in their faith, and develop meaningful friendships in a world that often feels disconnected.

Our youth also participate in service projects and help lead our regular worship service on designated Sundays throughout the year. Through worship, study, service, and fellowship, we aim to help youth develop a strong foundation in Christ, ask important questions, and apply their faith to everyday life. Whether through deep discussions, fun activities, or outreach projects, our goal is for every young person to feel valued, supported, and encouraged as they navigate their teenage years.

Youth Group Highlights

Throughout the year, many opportunities are available for students to be involved in worship, community events, and fellowship activities.
