Children’s Ministry
Kids are an integral part of our congregation.
Children’s ministries have always been a vital part of our church life, shaping young hearts and laying a strong foundation of faith for generations. It stands as a testament that several of our current volunteer leaders encountered Christ early in their lives and grew in their faith as children right here in this church. Now, they are passing on that same love and guidance to the next generation, creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where kids can learn about God, build friendships, and grow spiritually.
Children’s Sunday School
K – 5th Grade – Sundays, 10:00 AM
Our kids’ Sunday group meets on Sunday mornings for 45 minutes to learn more about the stories in the Bible and how they relate to our lives. Our kids enjoy worksheets, crafts, and positive conversations about the foundations of Christian faith. Each week is a self-contained lesson, and drop-in attendance is welcome.
The curriculum we use is called The Biggest Story, which is a vibrant and engaging chronological walk through the Bible. If you miss a week or two, easily catch up by watching the short narrative videos online.
Children’s Church
Students, ages 5 – 12 - held during 11:00 AM worship
Children join everyone in the sanctuary for the first part of our regular worship service. After the Children’s Sermon, kids ages 5–12 are invited to depart the sanctuary together to engage in age-appropriate Bible lessons and activities led by our caring volunteers. Our goal is to make Children’s Church a fun experience for kids which helps them grow in faith while building friendships within a relaxed, welcoming group.
K – 5th Grade, Evening hours during Summer Break
For 1 week each year during summer break, we hold Vacation Bible School. VBS is an energetic program held during evening hours and designed for children to learn about God through interactive lessons, music, games, and crafts. Each night, kids will explore Bible stories, build friendships, and experience a fun, engaging atmosphere that helps them grow in faith. With dedicated youth and adult volunteers leading the way, VBS is a wonderful opportunity for children to discover God’s love in a lively and welcoming setting.
Children’s Participation in Worship & Service
Children play an active role in our worship and church life, learning to serve others as they grow in faith. They participate as acolytes, assist with organizing donations for those in need, and share their talents with the congregation through music, readings, and seasonal programming, such as being part of Nativity plays. They also lend a hand at church events, from helping with BBQ fundraisers to supporting outreach efforts. Through these opportunities, our young members learn the joy of serving God and their community in meaningful ways.
Nursery
While children are certainly welcome to stay in our sanctuary during worship, we realize managing the needs of little ones can be difficult for parents in such an environment. For infants and toddlers, our well-equipped nursery is available for parents to seek a space where their little ones can rest or play. You can find the nursery by exiting the left side of the sanctuary and proceeding to the end of the hall. Live audio from the sanctuary can be heard in the nursery.
Coming soon! We will have our nursery staffed during worship services so that parents can drop off little ones.
Family Events
We host a variety of Family oriented events throughout the year. Please visit our Events page current calendar information.
